Hi! My name is Toffy, and I’m a 35-pound sweetheart with a name as sweet as my personality! I’m about 4 and a half years old now, and I’ve learned that the world is actually a pretty wonderful place once you have some friends by your side.

When I first arrived at the rescue, I was a little bit scared of everything—the big sounds and new faces made me want to hide. But thanks to some patient friends and lots of practice on my daily walks, I’ve totally bloomed! Now, I’m a happy, waggy boy who is so excited to find a family of my very own.

• A Brave Heart: I’ve worked really hard to overcome my fears, and it’s paid off! I’m now a happy, open boy who is ready to share my love with you.

• A+ Roommate: I currently live with other dogs and get along great with my furry roommates. I’m also a pro at sleeping in my "den" (my crate) at night!

• Walking Pro: I’ve learned to walk very nicely on a leash. I love getting outside to see the sights and smells of the neighborhood—it’s how I found my confidence!

• Sweet & Gentle: Because I used to be shy, I have a very gentle way about me. I promise to be your most loyal and loving companion.
