Cairo is a 3-year-old (on June 2025), mixed breed dog. He has long legs and an inquisitive personality. He is a very social dog like he knows he is the most handsome dog and everyone wants to spend time with him. He weighs just over 40 lbs and at a year old he is probably fully grown. His fosters adore him and think everyone who meets him will too.

He is crate trained and leash training now so will be leash trained when he is adopted. His foster does a great job at spending time walking the dogs and making sure that they are responsive on the leash. With his long legs, he will want to go walking or hiking or running with you.
Cairo lives with small and large dogs and gets along with all of them.

This beautiful girl is Chia. She is a 1-year-old, 49.5-lb, black and white, mixed breed dog. We do not DNA test and frankly, I am not great at guessing. She is a very friendly and playful girl who is young enough to have a whole lot of learning left to do but has already seen some of the harsher side of what life has to offer. She is a tripawd dog but missing a leg doesn't seem to bother her at all.

Chia is a very friendly, smart and playful girl. She is used to living with other dogs and would love to go out walking or hiking or running with you, or your kids because she is great with children. She would probably be up for almost any kind of athletic endeavor or relationship building exercises you have in mind. I'd keep it on the ground if I were you - I'm not sure how she'd feel about skydiving, and definitely no boxing, but maybe some yoga? Maybe you aren't a runner or hiker or walker? That's cool, maybe a nice fenced back yard for her exercise every day? That would work too.

Please welcome gorgeous Gabby! This pretty girl is about almost a year old and some magical mix of dog breeds that makes her one of the most unique dogs I have ever seen. She was rescued in the pouring rain, and once cleaned up, fed and vetted, her personality came out. She is very sweet and loving and already weighs 43 lbs, so we're projecting her to be 45 lbs. She loves all people, kids and other dogs.

She was found in a box with 4 siblings with children who were trying to find someone who would take them so our foster did.

Holly lives with large and small dogs and does well with them. She is leash trained. She is affectionate and sweet. She is waiting for her family to find her and bring her home. Because of her color and height she could have some Dachshund because she is low to the ground, but a mix with something else. She has a sweet face and is very cooperative.

Honey is as sweet as her name. She was found sick with tick disease and skin issues when she was barely surviving on the streets. She is all better and is the most grateful of dogs. She is a calm and social dog who loves to be with other dogs. She gets along with people and likes children and other dogs. She is 'perfect on leash' according to her fosters and crate trained. Say hello to Keizer! This handsome boy has a great smile and a personality too! I looked through the photos his foster Mom sent me and I feel like he's going to get adopted pretty quickly, so let me give you the details. Keizer is a 1-year-old 57-lb dog. He is fully grown.

He's so handsome and I had to make sure you saw his smiling face, but he has a great personality too. He is easygoing and playful. He is potty trained and is still leash trained.

Leo is a 14-year-old male dog, weighing in at about 9 pounds. Despite his small size, Leo has a "grumpy old man" demeanor when it comes to interactions with other dogs, preferring the company of humans instead. I want you to meet Linda - a 2-year-old, 40-lb dog. Do not let the close up photos deceive you - we have dogs like Watson who are 35 lbs - scroll down and compare. Linda has little dog friends at her foster's house and adores them. This poor girl really needs someone to give her a chance.

Linda loves people. She is so sweet and she loves her fosters. They say she is one of the nicest dogs! As a rescue, we know that most dogs have some Chihuahua and pibble in them and Linda does as well, but she also looks to have some Lab in her, so not only is she beautiful but she is smart, and a people-loving dog.

Linda is potty trained and crate trained. Her foster says she is very funny. She is active and sociable with all dogs, and affectionate, playful and loving. She doesn't like motorcycles or fireworks but neither do a lot of dogs. We can help with that. She will share her food.

She lives with adults and children, and dogs of both sexes. She has not been cat tested but it could be arranged. She likes to ride in a car. She is learning to walk well on a leash, and potty training.

Linda is obedient and well-behaved. She likes stuffed animals and balls, and she also likes to play with water. She enjoys being with people.

Milan is a 3-year-old mixed breed dog who weighs about 43 lbs. She was found in a pile of garbage with her young puppies - someone just threw her away. The entire family was taken into rescue.

This gorgeous brindle girl is Riley. She is 2 years old, weighing in at about 40 lbs. You'll notice that she is missing her left eye. We had to have it removed as she had quite severe glaucoma and it could not be saved. The vets say that the other eye is fine and shows no signs of the same issue and requires no medication. We think she looks like a gorgeous pirate because the most successful pirate in history was a woman. Riley is an active dog and is hoping the family that adopts her is active too so she can accompany them on all their adventures!!
